An unusually solid bank of clouds greeted me this morning. Ominous!
I ran to get my camera, and seconds later the sun, which had been trying to rise, managed to emerge above the clouds. Beautiful!
And then I had to go out. News warned to stay in. Wind chills up to minus 30. Call it walking incognito.
Perhaps locking visions of summer in our minds will keep us warm.

Lois, we moved back yesterday. -4 with mega wind chill in Round Lake Beach, so I can identify with the ‘walking Incognito’ remark. Snow last night! Frostbite on our dog’s paw! Annie

Lois, we moved back yesterday to Round Lake Beach to -4 w/ -30 or -40 WC. When it gets that cold, you stop counting, but one of the movers didn’t have SOCKS on I can really identify with your Incognito remark!
