It was and I took this picture BEFORE the concert started. People lined up already around 2pm for the 5:30 concert. The Trib the next day estimated the crowd to be 25,000. I’ve never seen numbers higher than 13,000. It was standing room only almost out to the long picnic table just east of the Bean. Very exciting!

Amazing! Chicago knows how to generate a welcome. Too bad we can’t hear the music. I’m sure that it was remarkable.
