Give a “shout out” to Urban Meadows!

Yesterday, the Chicago Tribune featured a story on Urban Meadows, a florist here in Chicago. They state their philosophy on their website: “Just like a flower, people need nourishment to grow.”

I learned about Urban Meadows when I was a member of the Mental Health Ministry at my church. And have enjoyed their floral arrangements for special events at the church.

Read more about this lovely shop and their inspiring employees here: Flower shop provides work to the mentally ill.

Then go online (www.urbanmeadows.com), call (773-537-3600), or drop in at 120 S. LaSalle Street in the east Loop to order arrangements of your own.

And, come to think of it, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner – I like tulips…

    1. He gets it delivered weekly–on Mondays! I’ll see if I even get a comment! But he’s been great for years getting me flowers when he grocery shops. He got hooked on doing this after we toured Alsmeer in the Netherlands.
