The storm seemed to leave as quickly as it had come. Sailboats went back out in the lake and people resumed their sightseeing in Millennium Park and on Michigan Avenue.
And I was reminded once again that “The heavens declare the glory of God…” Psalm 19:1.

mother Nature Trumps metro energy every time. I too lived downtown Chicago for 12 years and I remember how nature would dwarf the mighty city time and again during major storms. Thanks for the great photos.

You’re welcome. It is simply breathtaking to see the changes in the sky. The minute I became aware of this change I went out on our deck and started snapping.
