Lois, enjoy your event! PS: Just curious- have you kept your RN license active? I retired 2 years ago and can’t imagine myself ever working clinically again. But were I to write another article for a nursing magazine, or start a medical blog, I couldn’t use the title RN without being licensed.

I have not. I reluctantly let it go at 50 years when I was sure I would never practice again. Since then I don’t use the RN, but I am still educated as a nurse, so identify myself as a retired nurse. I’ve met folks though who do the required ceu’s etc forever just so they can give flu shots etc.
