Marv Taking Charge and I have traveled another 500 miles and I’m ready to chill for awhile. That’s 2400 miles since May 1. But what a fun time I had again, this time in Marv’s hometown. My daughter here in Sioux Falls baked cookies for the group gathered at the First CRC Fellowship Hall in Prinsburg, MN. This is the church where Marv grew up and the place, as you’ll read in the book, where he wanted to spend his last Fourth of July. Thanks now to the kitchen crew below and the church for its use of the Fellowship Hall. More pictures tomorrow.
And also tomorrow, I will post the PODCAST of me talking about the book. Watch for it!

Book talk.
I have read your book and it is so well written. I read it on the bus going up to Maine (our mystery destination). The last weeks sounded so hard. Jim will be writing a review for Amazon. Jim is the writer in our family. Blessings,Norma

What beautiful cookies, and what a warm, welcoming, attractive fellowship room. I grew up in South Dakota! Don’t see it mentioned much on blogs, however…

Thanks! That fellowship hall was at the Prinsburg, CRC in MN. It is very pleasant. Years ago we had a picture of the 9 Roelofs siblings with spouses in front of the fireplace. Re SD, I hope to have more posts on my home city of Sioux Falls. Where did you grow up?
