Come visit sometime in winter. The venues are open, the crowds are smaller, and the views are chilling! And welcoming…

That’s why I didn’t mention the play! I was disappointed in the over-theatricality at times. We went in the afternoon and took the bus and had no problem getting in and out.

I’m rarely a fan of slapstick (although I loved, yesterday, “The Mikado” by the Hypocrites) and other then a few chuckles, I thought this “Merry Wives” was misguided. I’m not a purist (or I wouldn’t have like “The Mikado) but there are limits . . .

Chicago is lovely in winter but so cold. Join us here in North Carolina. We broke the record for warmest day yesterday at 78 degrees!
Merry Christmas.

That is HOT! It was 4 degrees today as we walked 20 minutes to see Saving Mr. Banks. I was wrapped from head to toe.
